Cork Horse Ornament
Materials: Googly eyes Red yarn String and hook 7 wine corks Pinecone leaf (ears) Glue gun
- Begin by gluing corks together - Glue on eyes, ears and yarn - Glue string to head attach hook
Willow Christmas Tree
Materials: 1 Willow branch Gold spray paint. Small red xmas balls
- Paint parts of the branch lightly with paint.
- Leave some wood bare. Simply place on some small red balls an voila.
- This can either be placed in a vase for a table decoration, or as a large x-mas tree.
Free Tri-bead Wreath Ornament Craft
Materials: - 1 skein of red DMC Pearl Cotton - 1 skein of white DMC Pearl Cotton - Scissors - Red pipe cleaner - 8 inches of 1/2" to 5/8" ribbon
- Open a skein of cotton and snip the loop at each end so you have two bunches of cotton. Repeat with the other skein. - Take one red bunch and one white bunch and tie them together into a single knot around the end of a pipe cleaner. - To make the stripes, twist the two colors around the pipe cleaner and knot the ends together around the other end. - Trim the cotton at both ends and trim the pipe cleaner if needed. - Bend into the shape of a candy cane and tie a bow in the middle for added decoration.
Holiday Play Dough
Materials: - Large mixing bowl - ½ cup Salt - 2-tablespoon Oil - A pan to cook - 1 cup Flour - Any Food Color - 1 cup Water - 2-teaspoon Tartar Cream - Newspapers - Wooden Spoon
- Choose an empty hard-surfaced floor area and spread newspapers on it. - Add the flour and salt into the bowl. - Mix them thoroughly using the wooden spoon. - Now add tartar cream to it and mix well. - Add the oil and mix again. - Add water slowly while mixing to the desired consistency of the dough. - Add a few drops of food color to the dough and mix it well. - Add more color, if you need a darker color. - You can also make secondary colors by combining the primary colors in different quantities and combinations. - Now place the mixture in a pan. - Cook while stirring constantly over the medium heat until the mixture turns into a ball. - Cool it for sometime in the refrigerator, before the children start playing with it. - To be used later, store the play dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Free Christmas Jingle Bell Earrings Crafts
Materials: - Six 6mm multicolor jingle bells (or all silver if you like) - Two earring headpins (gold is shown, you can use silver if you prefer) - Two shepherds hook ear wires (gold or silver) - Six 4mm to 5mm open jump rings (One 4mm or 5mm jump ring, and two smaller 3mm can also be used) - Needle nose pliers
- Place all three jingle bells on a jump ring and close the ring with the needle nose pliers - Attach a jump ring to the shepherd hook ear wire and close the ring shut. - Attach these two parts with the last jump ring and close the last ring with the pliers. - Repeat this process for the second earring.
